The creation of this artwork was to find oneness in symmetry and to transcend beyond the confines of matter. The underlying idea is based upon a heavenly constellation or a solar system. The golden star in the center, the umber sun rays enveloping it is a beacon for everyone, everywhere. Next are the blue skies and the eight medallions around it signify planets. Tessellating this system 6 times creates a star system.
Each object or idea in the symmetry has a role. They come before and after, acting as balance and unifying each other. Such is the role of ideologies and religions. They provide pillars to the thought process. They can be different but they provide balance for life and sustenance to the heart which yearns for the aesthetic.
