The Light Quilt installation is made of paper, thread and dichroic film. 10 feet of stitched squares in panels of 16, soothing and comforting, it unravels itself in the center, throwing shadows of colors and reflections of rainbows.
This installation was made for the yearly Art and Tech show held in downtown Sacramento that focuses on fusing art and technology through light, space and sound. The idea is to transform an empty space into what can be described as a “modern-day dreamscape” where attendees will find themselves immersed in a sensory experience.
